On 5th April, 2018, learned proxy counsel for the petitioner sought an adjournment as the arguing counsel was not available. Today again, a proxy counsel prays for an adjournment. By this petition, the petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No.1329/2015 under Sections 420/467/468/471/406, PS Janak Puri on the complaint of Mahavir Dahiya wherein two other victims namely Ramesh Kumar Lamba and Rajneesh Kumar were also examined. Though the petitioner is stated to have settled with Rajneesh Kumar who appeared before this Court on 5th April, 2018 and stated that the settlement has been arrived at however there is no settlement arrived at between the petitioner and the complainant-Mahavir Dahiya. Dr.Ramesh Kumar Lamba W.P.(CRL) 3231/2017

is also present in Court and identified by the Investigating Officer. He states that he has also settled the matter with the petitioner. 2.

Learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State submits that the FIR in question relates to the misappropriation of the society's property and though the complainant is Mahavir Dahiya interest of as many as 28 people is involved.

Merely because two victims have settled the matter with the petitioner cannot be a ground for quashing of the FIR in question which affects the interest of 26 other victims. Petition is dismissed. MUKTA GUPTA, J.
