By this application, the petitioner seeks modification of the order dated 14th December, 2017 whereby he was directed to be released on parole for a period of 8 weeks on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹10,000/- with one surety bond of the like amount. The case of the petitioner is that the order be modified and he be permitted to be released on personal bond of ₹10,000/- and a cash surety of ₹4,000/- or minimum amount to be furnished to the satisfaction of the Superintendent Jail. Earlier also the order granting parole to the petitioner vide W.P.(Crl.) No.1636/2013 was modified in Crl.M.A.No.16434/2013 directing the petitioner to be released on a personal bond in the sum of ₹10,000/- with a cash surety of ₹4,000/- to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent. Learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State has brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner has recently availed a second spell of furlough with effect from 7th May, 2018 to 21st May, 2018 for a period of two weeks pursuant to the order dated 7th March, 2017 on his furnishing a cash surety of ₹10,000/- along with personal bond of the like amount. The copy of the order is taken on record.

Consequently, the order dated 14th December, 2017 is modified to the extent that the petitioner be now released on parole for a period of 8 weeks from the date of his release on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹10,000/- with one cash surety of the like amount subject to the satisfaction of the concerned Jail Superintendent further conditions imposed vide order dated 14th December, 2017 remaining the same. 4.

Application is disposed of.

Copy of this order be communicated to the petitioner through Superintendent, Tihar Jail.
