By way of this writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, read with Section 482 Cr.P.C., the petitioner is seeking parole for a period of three months to look after and to provide proper medical treatment to his old aged mother who is suffering from various old aged ailments and to re-establish social ties with family and society. 2.

Notice. Learned counsel as above accepts notice on behalf of the State.

Perusal of the record reveals that the petitioner applied for grant of parole to the Govt. of NCT of Delhi which prayer has been declined vide order dated 11th August, 2017 on the ground that earlier the petitioner was granted parole for a period of four weeks by Delhi High Court and the petitioner surrendered late after availing the parole. W.P.(CRL) 3250/2017

Nominal roll of the petitioner is also available on record wherein in column No.18 i.e. 'Report of misconduct (if any) during interim bail/parole/furlough', it is mentioned that the petitioner surrendered late by 11 days. In column No.5 i.e. 'Violation of Delhi Prison Rules for the last one year', it is mentioned that one punishment was given to him on 25th August, 2017. The jail conduct of the petitioner is also reported to be 'unsatisfactory'. It is also mentioned in column No.21 i.e. 'Status of coaccused' that co-accused Kamal has jumped the parole. 6.

In the given circumstances, the prayer of the petitioner for his release on parole is declined at this stage.

The petition is dismissed.

The petitioner be informed through the concerned Jail Superintendent about the orders passed.
