% 21.11.2017 Petitioner no. 2 was driver of respondent no. 2. As per the prosecution, petitioner no. 1 is friend of petitioner no. 2. At the instance of petitioner no. 2, petitioner no. 1 made a call to respondent no. 2 and threatened him with dire consequence, if `2 lacs was not given to him. Respondent no. 2 says that petitioner no. 2 had been working with him as a drawer, for a long time.

Petitioners have no previous criminal record. Respondent no. 2 says that he has settled the matter with petitioners of his own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion, vide a Compromise Deed dated 17th November, 2017. He does not wish to

pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed. Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no. 2 voluntarily and also the fact that petitioners are young in age, having no criminal record, in the interest of justice, FIR no. 141/2012 under Section 387 IPC registered at Police Station Amar Colony and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed, subject to costs of `20,000/- to be deposited by each of the petitioners with Bar Council of Delhi Advocates Welfare Fund within two weeks. Receipts, evidencing deposit of costs, be produced before the Investigating Officer. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Dasti. A.K. PATHAK, J.
