The petitioner, who is enrolled in the Indian Air Force as a Clerk (General), is aggrieved by the posting order dated 31.10.2017, issued by the respondents, transferring him from Bangalore to Bhatinda. 2.

Counter affidavit in opposition has been filed by the respondents. 3.

In the course of arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner draws our attention to the averments made by the respondents in para No.10 of the counter affidavit wherein it has been stated that the subsequent application dated 01.11.2017, moved by the petitioner before the competent authority seeking cancellation of his posting and for being posted at his parent unit on W.P.(C) 10373/2017

compassionate grounds is under consideration. He states that the petitioner would be satisfied if the respondents pass a speaking order on the said representation.

Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of, with directions to the respondents to pass a speaking order on the pending representation of the petitioner dated 01.11.2017, within three weeks from today, under written intimation to him.

If the petitioner is aggrieved by the said order, he shall be at liberty to seek his remedy, as per the law.
