% 22.11.2017 Ms. Nasrin, respondent no.2 is present in the Court and has been identified by ASI Jatan Swaroop of Police Station Krishna Nagar. Respondent no.2 says that she has settled the matter with petitioner no.1 of her own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and she is not willing to pursue FIR No.198/2012 under section 498-A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Krishna Nagar against the petitioner no.1 and his relatives, that is, petitioner nos. 2 to 4 and, therefore, the same may be quashed.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case as detailed above, in the interest of justice, the aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating thereform are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applications are disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
