O R D E R

The petitioner seeks bail in FIR No. 1022/2017 under Section 308 of IPC registered at Police Station New Usmanpur, Delhi. The petitioner is in custody since 06.10.2017.

The allegations in the FIR are that the petitioner/accused was roaming around in the street in front of the shop of the complainant and when the complainant objected to the same, an altercation took place. The petitioner is stated to have picked up a rod lying nearby and hit the complainant with the said rod.

As per the MLC, victim has sustained injury which is simple in nature.

Subject to the petitioner's furnishing a bond in the sum of Rs. 25,000/- with one surety of the like amount, the petitioner/accused BAIL APPLN. 2423/2017

shall be released on bail. The petitioner shall not do anything which shall either prejudice the prosecution or prosecution witnesses. 5.

The petition is allowed in the above terms.
