% 23.11.2017 It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no. 2 are brothers. A quarrel ensued between them on some trivial issue, which had led to registration of the present FIR no. 370/2014 under Section 308 IPC at Police Station Harsh Nagar on the complaint of respondent no. 2. With the interventions of their common friends and family members, petitioner and respondent no.

have settled their disputes amicably, vide a MOU/Compromise Deed dated 10th November, 2017; therefore, aforesaid FIR may be quashed. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court along with his counsel and has been identified by SI Samrat Khatiyan of Police Station

Harsh Vihar. Respondent no. 2 submits that he has settled the matter with petitioner of his own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion.

He further submits that he is not willing to pursue the FIR any further against the petitioner and the same may be quashed. Keeping in view the above fact that a quarrel took place between petitioner and private respondent on some trivial issue and they have now settled their disputes amicably in order to maintain harmonious relations in future, in the interest of justice, FIR no. 370/2014 under Section 308 IPC registered at Police Station Harsh Nagar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
