% 15.01.2019 Notice. Learned APP accepts notice for respondent no. 1. Respondent No. 2, namely, Ms. Kajol is present in Court with her counsel and has been identified by SI Juli of Police Station Gandhi Nagar. Respondent No.2 submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion vide Compromise Deed dated 09.06.2018. She states that she has no objection in case FIR No. 423/2015 under Sections 354(A)/354(D)/506 IPC registered at Police Station Gandhi Nagar, Delhi and consequent proceedings are quashed. Affidavit of respondent No. 2 is also on record to this effect. In view of the settlement arrived at between respondent no. 2 and petitioner, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
