O R D E R

% 04.01.2018 The petition was disposed of vide order dated 1.12.2017 and has been taken up in view of the receipt of letter dated 22.12.2017 addressed to the Registrar General of the High Court of Delhi by the learned Metropolitan Magistrate-01, Central, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi submitting to the effect that copy of the order dated 1.12.2017 was put up before her on 22.12.2017 and there being just one day left before the closing of the District Courts in December, 2017, the directions dated 1.12.2017 could not be complied with. It has further been stated in the said letter that the case is at the stage of summoning and the trial in literal sense has not even commenced as yet and it could not be possible thus to complete the trial in the year 2017 itself.

In view of the report that the summoning is yet to take place and the trial is yet to commence, the directions dated 1.12.2017 are

modified to the effect that the 'orders' of the learned trial court that are reserved since 2.8.2017 qua directions dated 23.11.2016 of the Special Judge, NDPS-02 Central in Criminal Rev. No.48/16, be pronounced latest by 28.2.2018.

A copy of this order/direction be sent to the learned Metropolitan Magistrate concerned through the Registrar General of this Court with intimation of the same to the petitioner through counsel.
