% 02.02.2018 Petitioner no. 1 is stated to be bed-ridden. Petitioner no. 1 is being represented by his father, that is, petitioner no. 2 Shri Sewa Ram Bakolia. Petitioner nos. 3 to 10 are relatives of petitioner nos. 1 and 2. Respondent no. 2 is wife of petitioner no. 1. Respondent no.2 Ms. Reshma Bakolia is present in Court and has been identified by SI Prabha of police station Prasad Nagar. Respondent no.2 confirms that petitioner no. 1 is bed-ridden. Respondent no. 2 admits having settled the matter with petitioner no. 2 of her own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi on 30th

October, 2017. It is submitted that petitioner no. 1 was being represented by petitioner no. 2 before the Delhi Mediation Centre and has entered into the settlement on behalf of all the petitioners. Respondent no. 2 says that she has already received the settled amount of `3,00,000/- and she has no objection in case FIR is quashed against the petitioners. Affidavit of respondent no. 2 is also on record.

Keeping in mind the facts and circumstances as detailed above, in the interest of justice, FIR No.328/2007 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC registered at Police Station Prasad Nagar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
