O R D E R

% 27.11.2017 The petitioner seeks parole for a period of one month to perform the last rites of his father who was cremated on 22.11.2017. The police has verified the aforesaid circumstance as well as the address furnished by the petitioner. The Nominal Roll is on record and it shows that he has been in incarceration for five years 11 months and one day as on 26.11.2017. His conduct in jail is stated to be satisfactory. He has never been released earlier. In the circumstances, a case for grant of parole for a period of one month is made out. Let the petitioner be released on parole for a period of one month from the date of his release from the jail on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.10,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent concerned, subject to the following conditions:-

(1) the petitioner shall report to the SHO concerned once a week on every Tuesday during the period of parole;

(2) the petitioner shall furnish his mobile telephone number, which he undertakes to keep operational at all times, to the SHO concerned; (3) the petitioner shall not leave the territory of NCT of Delhi; and (4) the petitioner shall surrender before the jail authorities at the expiry of the period of parole.

With the above directions the writ petition is disposed off. A copy of this order be given dasti, under the signature of the Court Master.

A copy of the order be sent to the Jail Superintendent concerned and shall also be furnished to the said Jail Superintendent through the police. NAJMI WAZIRI, J.
