% 15.12.2017 It is submitted that petitioner is mother-in-law of respondent no. 2. Respondent no.2 Suman Almal @ Suman Maheshwari is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by ASI Jatan Swaroop of police station Kirshna Nagar. Respondent no. 2 admits having settled the matter with petitioner of her own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion before the Counselling Cell, Family Courts, Central District vide Annexure - P-7. Respondent no. 2 submits that she has already received the entire settled amount from the petitioner.
She submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further against the petitioner and the same may be quashed.
Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in the interest of justice, FIR No.232/2011 under Sections 498-A/406/34/270 IPC registered at Police Station Kirshna Nagar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
