O R D E R

% 23.01.2019 The petitioner seeks parole for filing an SLP against her conviction and sentence. She is a life convict. She has already spent ten years in jail. Her conduct in jail is stated to be satisfactory. The sentence in another case has already been undergone by her. It has been verified by the police that the address mentioned in the application is the property owned by the petitioner and her husband who too is incarcerated. Their daughter is married and living in Bombay.

In view of the above, the petitioner is granted parole for a period of four weeks from the date of her release on her furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent concerned, subject to the following conditions:- (1) The petitioner shall report to the concerned SHO once a week on every Monday during the period of parole.

(2) She shall furnish her telephone number to the SHO concerned, which

the petitioner shall keep operational at all times. (3) She shall not leave the territory of NCT of Delhi. (4) She shall surrender before the Jail Authorities at the expiry of the period of parole.

With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed-off. A copy of this order be given dasti to the learned counsel for the parties and a copy be sent to the Jail Superintendent concerned, for compliance. NAJMI WAZIRI, J JANUARY 23, 2019/acm
