A counter affidavit has been filed by the respondents enclosed along with an Office Order dated 24.08.2017 (Annexure-R1) wherein the name of the petitioner features at Serial No.7. It has been stated that the petitioner was granted the financial benefits of the 2nd ACP Scheme on 09.08.1999, whereby his Pay Band and Grade Pay has been fixed as `5500-175-9000 as per 5th Pay Commission. Learned counsel states that pursuant to the issuance of the aforesaid office order, the pension of the petitioner has also been revised.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the consequential benefits of revision of pay and revision of pension have yet to be received by the petitioner.

The present petition is disposed of with direction issued to the respondents to release the arrears of the revised pay and the revised pension to the petitioner within four weeks from today, failing which the said amount shall attract interest @ 7.5% per annum after expiry of four weeks. 4.

The petition is disposed of.
