O R D E R

% 13.02.2019 Petitioner no.1 (husband) and respondent no. 2 (wife) are present in Court, who have been identified by SI Rambhaj Singh of police station J.P. Kalan. Respondent no.2 submits that she has settled the disputes with her husband of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and is living with him for the last about four years. She says that presently she has no grievance against her husband and his family members and has no objection in case FIR No.83/2012 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC, registered at police station Jaffarpur Kalan and the consequent proceedings are quashed. Affidavit of respondent no.2 has also been annexed with the petition.

Keeping in mind that husband and wife have started living together

after resolving their differences, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
