IN THE HIGH COURT OF DELHI AT NEW DELHI
+ BAIL APPLN. 2458/2017 & CRL.M.A. 19811/2017 HARJINDER SINGH & RINDI ..... Petitioner Through:
Mr. Vivek K. Thakur, Adv.
versus STATE ( NCT OF DELHI ) ..... Respondent Through:
Mr. Ashish Dutta, APP for State with SI Surender Singh, Spl. Cell/NR.
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE R.K.GAUBA
O R D E R
% 10.07.2018 Concededly, charge for the offences punishable under Sections 21 and 29 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 was framed on 14th November, 2017. This itself shows that there is sufficient material on record presented before the Special Judge to put the petitioner on trial. In these circumstances, it cannot be said by any stretch of imagination that the allegations against him are unfounded.
Given the nature of the crime of which the petitioner is accused, there is no good ground to release him on bail.
The petition is dismissed.
This renders the application (CRL.M.A.
No.19811/2017) infructuous. The same is disposed of accordingly. R.K.GAUBA, J JULY 10, 2018 srb
