% 08.12.2017 No fresh status report has been filed. Learned APP for the State submits that in compliance of the proceedings dated 30.11.2017, the applicant has handed over the mobile phone to the IO and it has been submitted by the APP for the State that the mobile phone would be sent to the FSL for analysis.
Allegations levelled against the applicant relate inter alia to the effect that she was in a relationship with Pankaj Mehra, husband of the deceased and it has been alleged that the husband of the deceased (Priya Mehra) in conspiracy with the applicant/petitioner with whom he had several telephonic conversations had eliminated his wife. Initially, the submissions were made to the effect prior to the order dated 30.11.2017 that the applicant's custodial interrogation was required as there were unresolved issues and that in view of the mobile phone conversations between Pankaj Mehra and the applicant,
the mobile phone had to be recovered, recovery of which has since been effected. There is now no further custodial interrogation of the applicant required on behalf of the investigating agency. In view thereof, the applicant is directed to be released on bail on her furnishing a bond in the sum of Rs. 1 lac to the satisfaction of the learned trial Court with a direction that she will not leave the country; she will join the investigation as and when required, that she shall not tamper the documents and she shall not intimidate the witnesses of the case.
