% 01.12.2017 Learned counsel for respondents has handed over a copy of the order dated 29th November, 2017.
Learned counsel for the petitioner states that this order has been passed only after the present writ petition was preferred. Be that as it may, it would be open to the petitioner to challenge the said order in accordance with law.
We clarify that we have not examined and commented on the merits. Issue of demurrage charges is also left open and can be raised by the petitioner in accordance with law.
On the question of delay in passing order on bills of entry, the issue is
being examined in Rainbow Fashions Vs. The Deputy Commissioner of Customs and Anr. W.P. (C)1235/2017 and affidavits etc have been directed to be filed therein by the authorities including Central Board of Excise & Customs.
We would not like to adjourn the writ petition and keep it pending for the aforesaid reason.
This writ petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. A copy of this order be given dasti under signature of the Court Master.
