Out of the present batch of petitions, a short affidavit has been filed in W.P.(C). Nos. 8436/2015, 9043/2015 & 10192/2015. 2.

Learned counsel for the respondents states that the petitioners have been offered five alternative government hired accommodations vide letter dated 17th March, 2016, but till date, none of them have submitted their acceptance.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that no doubt that their clients have received an offer of five government hired accommodations from the respondents vide letter dated 17th March, 2016, the question of submitting a valid Non Availability Certificate (NAC) would be an impediment and they are apprehensive that the respondents shall turn

down their request for allotment on the ground of improper format of NAC, as was done in the past.

Learned counsel for the respondents states on instructions that no such objection with regard to improper format of NAC shall be raised if the petitioners apply for the alternative government hired accommodations.

Accordingly, one week's further time is granted to the petitioners to submit their NAC to the competent authority while exercising an option of the hired government accommodation offered by the respondents, which shall be processed in accordance with law and offer letters shall be issued within two days from the date of receipt of the NAC, which shall be accepted by the petitioners within two days from the date of receipt thereof.
