O R D E R

% 07.10.2015 The petitioner was released on parole by an order of this Court dated 7.7.2015 passed in Writ Petition No.957/2015. The petitioner by the aforesaid order was released for a period of two weeks from the date of his release. It has been submitted that the aforesaid release was for the purpose of attending to his mother who had undergone Angioplasty and had been advised to rest thereafter. The aforesaid order of release on parole also takes note of the fact that his father was also bed ridden and was undergoing treatment at G.B. Pant Hospital. The father of the petitioner is also required to be operated for Angiography and implantation of additional stents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has drawn the attention of this Court to the Out Patient Registration Card of G.B. Pant Hospital wherein the

date of operation is fixed for 17.10.2015.

A prayer for extension of the period of parole has been made under the aforesaid circumstances. Considering the aforesaid facts, the period of parole of the petitioner is further extended to two weeks to be counted from 8.10.2015 when the parole period expires. The terms and conditions which were imposed by the order dated 7.7.2015 would apply to the petitioner for the extended period of parole.

The petitioner would, in all event, surrender before the jail authorities on the expiry of extended period of parole.

The petition is disposed of.

A copy of this order be transmitted to the Superintendent of the concerned jail.
