CORAM:

% 06.12.2018 Notice.

Learned APP accepts notice for respondent no. 1.

Respondent no.2 Ms. Amarjit Singh is present in Court along with his counsel and accepts notice. He has been identified by ASI Umesh Kumar of police station Mandawali.

Respondent no.2 submits that he has settled the matter with petitioner no. 1 of his own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion before Mediation Centre, Dwarka Courts, New Delhi on 3rd October, 2018. Respondent no. 2 submits that he has no objection in case present FIR and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Keeping in mind the nature of offence, which is regarding sale of an immovable property and that parties have admitted to have settled the matter before the Mediation Centre, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 381/2013 under Sections 420/467/368/471 IPC registered at Police Station Uttam Nagar and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
