CRL.M.C. 5154/2017 The instant petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking quashing of FIR No.308/2017, under Section 287/304A IPC registered at Police Station - Dwarka South, Delhi on the complaint of respondent No.2 and the proceedings pursuant thereto on the ground that the parties have amicably settled their disputes.

Respondents No.2 to 5 are present in Court today and are identified by their counsel. They state that they have settled the matter with the petitioner with their own free will and choice without any threat, pressure and coercion as per the terms and conditions of the Settlement Deed dated CRL.M.C. 5154/2017

11.09.2017and they do not wish to pursue the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto.

Respondents No.2 to 5 further state that as per the aforesaid settlement, they have already received Rs.6,10,000/- from the petitioner and today they have received balance amount of Rs.1,50,000/- from the petitioner through Demand Draft No. 730080 dated 17.11.2017 drawn on Karnataka Bank Ltd., Laxminagar New Delhi, against all our claims. Statements of the parties have been recorded separately. In view of the fact that the parties have amicably resolved their differences voluntarily out of their own free will and without any coercion, pressure, and no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the proceedings. It would be in the interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto. There is no legal impediment in quashing the FIR in question. Consequently, FIR No.308/2017, under Section 287/304A IPC registered at Police Station - Dwarka South, Delhi and all the proceedings pursuant thereto are hereby quashed.

The petition is disposed of.
