Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.128/2017 registered under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC at PS Crime (Women) Cell Nankpura. It is stated that the matter has been settled amicably with the complainant / respondent No.2 vide MOU dated 08.11.2017.

Complainant/ respondent No.2 is present and has been identified by the Investigating Officer. I have enquired from her if she has settled the dispute with the petitioners amicably without any fear or pressure. She has informed that all the disputes between the parties have been resolved amicably with her free consent and she has no objection to quashing the FIR in question. Divorce has taken place between the parties by mutual consent. Pursuant to the settlement all the payments have been received by the complainant. 3.

The petition is supported by affidavits of the parties. MOU dated 08.11.2017 has been placed on record. Cross cases registered vide FIR No.51/2017 under Sections 354/509/506/323/34 IPC at PS Greater Kailash and FIR No.50/2017 under Sections 308/323/506/34 IPC at PS Greater Kailash have also been settled and the FIRs therein have been quashed. Since the dispute between the parties has been settled, no useful purpose will be served to continue with the proceedings. In the interest of justice and to enable the parties to put an end to the litigation, FIR No.128/2017 registered under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC at PS Crime (Women) Cell Nankpura and all the proceedings arising therefrom are quashed.

The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
