..... Petitioners Through Mr. Tushar Gupta, Mr. Sumit Kumar Mishra and Mr. Aditya, Advs.

versus STATE & ANR.

..... Respondents Through Ms. Aashaa Tiwari, APP with SI Varun, P.S. Hauz Khas Respondent no.2 in person

CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK

O R D E R

% 21.08.2018 It is submitted that petitioners were employees of respondent no. 2. They were turned out of job. Disputes arose between the petitioners and respondent no. 2, which led to registration of FIR no. 684/2016 under Section 387 IPC at Police Station Hauz Khas.

Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Varun of police station Hauz Khas.

Respondent no. 2 submits that he has now settled the matter with petitioners of his own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion.

Respondent no. 2 says that he has no objection in case aforesaid FIR and consequent proceedings emanating

therefrom are quashed.

Affidavit of respondent no. 2 to this effect is also on record at page 60.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Dasti. A.K. PATHAK, J.
