The petitioners have filed the present petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for quashing of FIR No.426/2016, under Sections 323/324/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 ('IPC'), registered at Police Station Najafgarh, Delhi and the proceedings emanating therefrom.

The petitioners as well as respondent No.2 and their respective counsel submitted that the parties have amicably settled the disputes between them and the present petition may be allowed and the FIR may be quashed.

The parties assured this Court that they shall not engage in a fight in the future and may be given an opportunity to live a peaceful and normal life.

Investigating Officer has identified the petitioners as well as respondent No.2 and verified about the settlement. 5.
Learned APP for the State, on instructions, submitted that the parties do not have any other case pending against them except the present one.

In view of the aforesaid circumstances and the settlement arrived at between the parties, this Court is of the view that no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the parties entangled in the criminal proceedings. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, FIR No.426/2016, under Sections 323/324/34 of the IPC, registered at Police Station Najafgarh, Delhi and the proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in above terms.
