2. A status report has been filed on behalf of the Respondent stating that FIR No.296/2017 dated 25th November, 2017, under Section 363 IPC was registered at Police Station-Sadar Bazar, Delhi on the compliant of Smt. Gulshan wife of Shri Jameel stating that her daughter Ilma aged 16 years is missing since around 6 pm on 24th November, 2017. Smt. Gulshan suspected
that her daughter had been kidnapped by some unknown person. It is stated that Amin @ Munia, son of Mohd. Usman, the younger brother of the Petitioner was also found missing and a suspicion arose that both Ilma and Amin have eloped. It is stated that investigations are on.
3. As regards the four relatives of Amin, whose unlawful detention by the SHO of Police Station-Sadar Bazar was alleged in this petition, learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner confirms that all the four of them have since returned home at 7 pm yesterday. Learned counsel for the Respondent assures that in the event any of them is required for questioning, sufficient notice would be given to them and no coercive steps will be taken subject to their cooperating in the investigation. Counsel for the Petitioner on his part assures that he as well as other relatives of Amin will cooperate the police in the investigation.
4. In that view of the matter, no further directions are called for. The petition is disposed of accordingly.
