O R D E R

% 29.11.2017 Instant petition has come to be filed with the prayer, as follows: "(i) Issue an appropriate Writ, direction or order thereby directing the Respondent to allot the plot measuring 332.5 sq.mtr., adjacent to Nirbhaya Centre At Suvidha Kunj, F-57, Local Shopping Centre, Road No. 43, H-4 & 5, Pitampura, Delhi in favour of the petitioner.

Petition proceeds on the premise that the petitioner is entitled to a plot of land as per the scheme and that, though, the matter has been under consideration, but, inspite of the repeated representations made, no response thereon is forthcoming, inasmuch as, in para 20, the petitioner has stated, as follows :

"That in the interregnum the petitioner has also submitted another representation to the respondent dated 22.05.2017 seeking allotment of plot of land that has been carved out at

the representation of the petitioner, however, the respondent is maintaining complete silence in this regard." There does not appear to be any dispute as to the entitlement of the petitioner for allotment of a plot of land for the purpose indicated in the petition. Petitioner has however, approached this Court for the inordinate delay in decision making and being conveyed to the petitioner.

Keeping in view the totality of the facts and circumstances, the instant petition is disposed off with a direction to the respondentDDA to treat the instant petition as a representation of the petitioner, to be decided, preferably, within eight weeks of the receipt of the instant order, by a speaking order, to be conveyed to the petitioner immediately, thereafter. Pending applications also stand disposed off accordingly.
