The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner impugning the order dated 18th March, 2015 whereby his request for grant of furlough has been declined on the ground that he is not eligible to be released on furlough in view of para 26.1 of Parole/Furlough guidelines- 2010 which reads as under:- "26.1 Good conduct in the Prison and should have earned Three Annual Good Conduct Remission and continues to maintain good conduct." 2.

As per nominal roll, the appellant has undergone 11years, 7 months and 23 days in custody as on 21.09.2015, out of the total sentence of rigorous imprisonment for life awarded under Section 302/34 IPC. The appeal filed by him was dismissed by this Court on 23.03.2012. 3.

The nominal roll also shows that the conduct of the petitioner has been recorded as unsatisfactory with punishment being awarded number of W.P.(CRL) 2283/2015

times. He has jumped parole on 24.11.2012 and was rearrested on 13.12.2012. In view of the above conduct which is mentioned in nominal roll, the competent authority has rightly rejected the prayer of the petitioner for releasing him on furlough.

The writ petition is dismissed.
