% 09.07.2018 Respondent no.2 Ms. Rakhi Kohli is present in Court along with her counsel and accepts notice.

Respondent no. 2 submits that she has settled the matter with petitioner no. 1 amicably before the Counselling Cell, Family Courts, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. Respondent no. 2 further submits that her marriage with petitioner no. 1 has already been dissolved by a decree of divorce by mutual consent dated 7th October, 2017 passed by the Family Courts, South - West District, Dwarka, New Delhi. She says that terms of the settlement

have been complied with and she has no objection in case FIR no. 872/2014 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC registered at Police Station Binda Pur and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed against the petitioner no. 1 and his relatives, i.e., petitioner nos. 2 to 9. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
