By this petition the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 848/2017 under Sections 354/376/506 IPC registered at PS Narela, Delhi. 2.
In the complaint submitted by the prosecutrix on 8th November, 2017 she alleged that in the month of October, 2016, the petitioner, that is, her father-in-law forcefully tried to do wrong acts with her. Thereafter she started living in a rented house with her husband and children however, in the month of February, 2017 when she went to her in-laws' house, where her father-in-law was alone, he committed rape on her. She stated that she did not disclose this fact due to the fear of society however, in front of her rented house one boy namely Mahesh Khatri @ Bholi resided who one day forcefully entered into her rented house and made physical relations with her at the point of pistol. It is alleged that Bholi also took photographs, BAIL APPLN. 2455/2017
made videos and threatened her.

After the above noted FIR was registered, the prosecutrix gave yet another complaint on 16th February, 2018 wherein she stated that Mahesh @ Bholi has posted her obscene photos on facebook and whatsapp and her father-in-law, that is, the petitioner herein is innocent and was named by her due to the pressure and threats given by Mahesh @ Bholi. 4.
Considering the subsequent statement of the complainant, this Court deems it fit to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. It is, therefore, directed that in the event of arrest the petitioner be released on bail on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹25,000/- with one surety of the like amount, subject to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer/SHO concerned, further subject to the condition that the petitioner will join the investigation as and when directed by the Investigating Officer and in case of change in residential address the same will be intimated to the Court concerned by way of an affidavit.
