% 14.12.2017 It is submitted that a quarrel took place between the petitioners and respondent no. 2 on some trivial issues, which led to the incident, wherein petitioners assaulted respondent no. 2 in the rush of heat. Petitioners and respondents respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes amicably, vide a Memorandum of Understanding dated 15th November, 2017; therefore, FIR No. 372/2016 under Sections 341/308/34 IPC registered at Police Station New Friends Colony on the complaint of respondent no. 2, may be quashed.

Respondent no. 2 is present in Court along with his counsel and has been identified by SI Darpan Singh of Police Station New Friends Colony. Respondent no. 2 submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioners of his own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. Respondent no. 2 further submit that he is not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed. Keeping in view the fact that petitioners and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes voluntarily, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 372/2016 under Sections 341/308/34 IPC registered at Police Station New Friends Colony and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
