O R D E R

% 20.12.2017 Respondent no.2-Shiv Ram is present in Court along with his counsel and has been identified by SI Anand Kumar of police station Mehrauli. Respondent no.2 submits that he has settled the matter with the petitioner vide Comprise Deed dated 28th November, 2017 of his own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. He further submits that he sustained simple injuries in the incident. Now, he is not willing to pursue the FIR any further in view of the settlement and the same may be quashed. He also admits having received the entire settled amount of `20,000/- from the petitioner towards the compensation.

Keeping in mind that a settlement has been arrived at between the

petitioner and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 383/2017 under Sections 308 IPC registered at police station Mehrauli, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.

Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
