CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK
O R D E R
% 16.01.2018 It is submitted that petitioner no.1 (husband) and respondent no.2 (wife) have started living together after ironing out their differences. Respondent no.2 is present in Court along with his counsel and has been identified by SI Devender of police station Dabri. She submits that she is living with her husband, that is, petitioner no.1 happily in her matrimonial house for the last two years, therefore, she does not wish to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed against all the petitioners. Keeping in mind that husband and wife have resolved their differences and started living together and wife does not wish to pursue the FIR any further, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping
the criminal proceedings pending.
Accordingly, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 287/2014 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Dabri and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
