% 20.02.2019 In proceedings under The Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005, vide impugned order of 20th July, 2017 interim maintenance of ₹70,000/- per month has been granted to the estranged wife of petitioner. Not satisfied with trial court's order of 20th July, 2017, petitioner had filed an appeal, which stands dismissed vide impugned order of 27th September, 2017. In this petition, reduction in the quantum of interim maintenance is sought.

Upon hearing and on perusal of impugned order and the material on record, I find that the quantum of interim maintenance fixed is just and proper. No ground to reduce the interim maintenance is made out, as the pleas taken herein by petitioner-husband are required to be tested before the trial court.

This petition and application are accordingly disposed of while not Page | 1
