% 13.12.2018 By this petition the petitioner seeks parole on the ground that he has to look after the mother, complete rituals of the death anniversary of his father which is to fall on 22nd December, 2018, to attend Kuan Poojan ceremony of his first child and to maintain social ties. On a notice being issued a status report has been filed. As per the status report the family of the petitioner comprises of his mother, wife and a baby girl born on 13th July, 2018. No medical documents of the mother have been provided of, however the death anniversary of the petitioner's father is to be performed on or before 22nd December, 2018 and the Kuan Poojan ceremony of the daughter is also to be performed. As per the nominal roll the petitioner has been granted twice parole due to exigencies for a period of two weeks and two days by the GNCTD and this Court respectively, which concession he has not misused. Considering that earlier also the petitioner has been granted parole though there is no allegation that during the parole he misused the concession but has been awarded a punishment for the reason that he has threatened the co-convicts to hand-over some amount to the people outside, this Court considering the exigencies of the petitioner for the two ceremonies deems it fit to grant parole to the petitioner. It is therefore directed that the petitioner be released on parole for a period of two weeks on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹25,000/- with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court. Petition is disposed of. Order dasti.
