Petitioner in person.

versus GOVT. OF NCT OF DELHI AND ORS.

..... Respondents Through:

Mr Isha Khanna, Advocate for R-1 & R-3.

Mr Puneet Garg, Advocate for R-2.

Mr B. S. Shukla, CGSC with Mr Suraj Kumar and Mr Kamaldeep, Advocates for UOI.

CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VIBHU BAKHRU

O R D E R

% 18.12.2017 1.

The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, claiming that illegal commercial activities are being carried on in the area known as Silver Oak Farms which forms a part of the Ghitorni. It is further claimed that there is a large number of vehicular traffic in that area and premises are being used for activities for such as mining, scrap stocking, manufacturing, warehousing, automobile service centres etc.

2.

Learned counsel for the respondents points out that the petitioner has no interest in the subject matter and according to his own statement, he is supporting the cause of the residents of the area. There is also no authorization in favour of the petitioner to appear and represent their cause. It, thus, appears that the present petition is in the nature of Public Interest

Litigation and is, therefore, disposed of with the liberty to file the same in an appropriate form.

3.

Since it is alleged that illegal activities are taking place in a particular area, this Court considers it apposite to direct Respondent no.2 to examine the same and take appropriate action, if necessary. 4.

The petition is disposed of with the aforesaid observation. VIBHU BAKHRU, J DECEMBER 18, 2017 MK
