% 05.12.2017 It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no. 2 were known to each other as they had studied together at one point of time. Respondent no.2 alleged in the FIR that petitioner used to stalk her. Petitioner proposed her to marry and when she refused he slapped her. It is further submitted that petitioner and respondent no.2 have now settled their disputes amicably vide Settlement Deed dated 20th November, 2017, therefore, FIR No. 506/2017 under Sections 354/354D/506 IPC registered at police station K.N. Katju Marg, which is at the investigation stage, may be quashed. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Virender Kumar of police station K.N. Katju Marg. She submits that she
has settled the matter of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She has no objection in case FIR is quashed. Keeping in mind that a settlement has been arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
