O R D E R

% 12.12.2017 Respondent no.2-Smt. Kamla Devi is being represented through her husband, who holds the Special Power of Attorney in his favour executed by the respondent no.2. Photocopy of Special Power Attorney has been placed on record at pages 43 to 46.

It is submitted that petitioners (accused) and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Tis Hazari on 11th September, 2017, therefore, FIR No. 454/2014 under Sections 420/468/471 IPC registered at police station Burari, which is at the investigation stage, may be quashed.

Mr. Inder Singh Bisht, SPA of

respondent no.2 is present in Court. He submits that respondent no.2 has settled the matter with the petitioners before the Mediation Centre of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. Petitioners have paid `6 lacs to Mr. Inder Singh Bisht through a demand draft, photocopy whereof has been placed on record.

Mr. Inder Singh Bisht submits that with this payment entire settled amount of `15 lacs stands paid and respondent no.2 has no objection in case FIR is quashed. Keeping in mind that a settlement has been arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
