% 05.12.2017 CM No.44293/2017 1.
Allowed, subject to all just exceptions.
W.P.(C) 10800/2017 & CM No.44292/2017 2.
The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, impugning an order dated 07.11.2017 (hereafter 'the impugned order') passed by respondent no.1. Learned counsel for the petitioner points out that a petition claiming similar relief (W.P.(C) 10576/2017) captioned 'Capt. Rajesh Singh Sehgal v. Director General of Civil Aviation & Ors.' was disposed of as withdrawn. However, by an order dated 28.11.2017, this Court had also directed that the impugned order dated 07.11.2017 will not be given effect to for a further period of one week from that date to enable the petitioner to
avail statutory remedies.
3.
The petitioner claims that consequent to withdrawing the aforesaid petition, the petitioner had filed a statutory appeal. He had also sent several communications to the concerned Appellate Authority requesting that the impugned order dated 07.11.2017 be stayed had received no response to his requests.
4.
Learned counsel appearing for the respondents states, on instructions, that about eight weeks time would be required to consider the petitioner's appeal.
5.
In this view, the present petition is disposed of by extending operation of the order passed on 28.11.2017 in W.P.(C) 10576/2017 for a further period of 10 weeks: the impugned order dated 07.11.2017 will not be given effect to for a further period of ten weeks from today. 6.
The petition and pending application are disposed of. 7.
