O R D E R

% 06.03.2018 The present petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayers:

"It is therefore, most respectfully prayed that in the given facts and circumstances, this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to pass: I.

To issue the writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ / order / direction whereby directing the respondent to issue an Allotment cum Demand letter for the Plot No. 222, Pkt-15/E, Sector-8, Rohini, Delhi as per the policy of DDA, in the interest of justice;

II.

To issue appropriate writ / order / direction to the respondent to conclude the process of handing over the possession and executing the transfer document in a period of one month from the date of deposit of lawful demand;

To pass any further order may deem fit and proper in favour of the applicant."

Learned counsel for the respondent / DDA states an allotment-cumdemand letter with respect to Plot No. 222, Blk/Pkt E15, Sector-8, Rohini, Delhi measuring 25.92 sq. mtr. has been issued to the petitioner. This aspect is conceded by the learned counsel for the petitioner, who states, even the amount demanded has been deposited. Learned counsel for the respondent / DDA on instructions states, possession of the plot shall be given to the petitioner within eight weeks. The said statement is taken on record. In view of the statement made by the counsel for the respondent, counsel for the petitioner states, petition may be disposed of as such. Ordered accordingly.
