The present petition has been filed seeking directions to the respondents to renew the license of the petitioner for Stall No. 7 situated at Platform No. 1A of the Delhi Railway Station. 2.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of the present writ petition, the aforesaid stall of the petitioner, already stands removed.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondents draws the attention of this Court to the letter dated 07th February, 2018, issued by the proprietor, i.e., Rajendra Kumar Mangla (HUF) of the Meghna Juice & Fast Food Center, to whom license had been granted. Learned counsel appearing for the respondent also relies upon Annexure A-1 attached with the reply to the present petition, which is the agreement for license dated 07th June, 2010, to manage the catering services of Stall No. 7, Platform No. 1A, at Delhi Junction Railway Station, Delhi, and draws the attention of this Court to the signature of the proprietor, i.e., Mr. Rajendra Kumar Mangla of Meghna Juice & Fast Food Center to confirm that the letter dated 14th December, 2017, written by Rajendra The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

Kumar Mangla, has been written by the proprietor of Meghna Juice & Fast Food Center. She further draws the attention of this Court to the Agreement dated 07th June, 2010, between the respondents and the proprietor of Meghna Juice & Fast Food Center, to submit that the petitioner herein, is a witness in the said license.

Thus, she submits that there is no case for renewal in favour of the petitioner.

This Court notes that in the present case, the affidavit has been deposed on behalf of Mr. Anil Singh, who is merely a witness in the Agreement dated 07th June, 2010, between the respondents and the proprietor of Meghna Juice & Fast Food Center. 7.

Considering the aforesaid, no case is made out in favour of the petitioner for issuance of any directions for renewal of the license for the stall in question.

However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh application with the respondents for grant of a fresh license to him. In case, the petitioner files any application with the respondents for grant of any license for running a stall on the platform, the same shall be considered by the respondents, in accordance with their catering policy.
