% 12.02.2018 Petitioner no.1 is the father-in-law and petitioner no.2 is the mother-in-law of respondent no.2 Mrs. Varsha. FIR No.88/2008 under sections 498A/324/34 IPC was registered at police station Khajuri Khas on the complaint of respondent no.2. It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no.2 have now settled their disputes vide Compromise Deed dated 13th September, 2017. Petitioner no.1 undertakes to withdraw the Execution Petition filed by him to enforce the decree dated 23.4.2015 passed by the Commercial Civil Judge, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi.

Respondent no.2 is present in the Court and has been identified by SI Ompal Singh of police station Khajuri Khas. She says that she has settled the disputes with petitioners of her own free will,

voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion in terms of the Compromise Deed dated 13th September, 2017. She says that she has no objection in case the aforesaid FIR is quashed against the petitioners.

Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending against the petitioners. In the interest of justice, FIR No.88/2008 under sections 498A/324/34 IPC police station Khajuri Khas and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
