O R D E R

% 17.05.2018 This petition has been filed under Section 11 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereinafter referred to as the 'Act') seeking appointment of an Arbitrator for adjudicating the disputes that have arisen between the parties in relation to Gas Transmission Agreement (GAT) dated 1st June, 2010.

Counsels for the parties submit that though the Arbitration Agreement provides for arbitration through a three member Tribunal, they would prefer if the arbitration is conducted by a Sole Arbitrator. They further submit that the parties be referred to the Delhi International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) for appointment of an Arbitrator and conduct of the arbitration proceedings. In view of the submission made, the parties are directed to appear before the DIAC on 28th May, 2018 at 2.00 p.m. DIAC shall appoint a Sole Arbitrator to adjudicate the disputes

that have arisen between the parties in relation to the above mentioned agreement. The arbitration and fee shall be governed by the DIAC Rules.

The petition is disposed of with the above directions with no order as to costs.
