CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK

O R D E R

% 08.03.2018 Respondent no.2 Ms. Manisha Marasini is present in court along with her counsel and has been identified by SI Kishore Prasad of police station Greater Kailash-I. It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no. 2 have now settled their disputes amicably in terms of settlement deed dated 26th October, 2017, therefore, FIR 96/2016 under sections 354/509 IPC registered at police station Greater Kailash-I and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom may be quashed.

Respondent no.2 admits having settled the matter with the petitioner of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She has no objection in case aforesaid FIR is quashed. Affidavit of respondent no.2 has been annexed along with the petition.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the present criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.

Dasti.
