CRL.M.C. 5137/2017 The instant petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking quashing of FIR No.803/2014, under Section 419/420/468/471/34 IPC registered at Police Station - Baba Haridas Nagar, Delhi on the complaint of respondent No.2 and the proceedings pursuant thereto on the ground that the parties have amicably settled their disputes.

Respondent No.2 is present in Court today and is identified by his counsel. He states that he has settled the matter with the petitioners with his own free will and choice without any threat, pressure and coercion as per the terms and conditions recorded on 30.11.2017 before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Dwarka Courts, Delhi and he does not wish to pursue the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto. CRL.M.C. 5137/2017

Respondent No.2 further states that as per the aforesaid settlement/compromise, he has already received Rs.3,00,000/- from the petitioners and today he has received the payment of balance amount of Rs.2,00,000/- from the petitioners through Demand Draft No. 001784 dated 07.12.2017 drawn on IDBI Bank, Nangloi, New Delhi, against all his claims.

Statements of the parties have been recorded separately. In view of the fact that the parties have amicably resolved their differences voluntarily out of their own free will and without any coercion, pressure, and no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the proceedings. It would be in the interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto. There is no legal impediment in quashing the FIR in question. Consequently, FIR No.803/2014, under Section 419/420/468/471/34 IPC registered at Police Station - Baba Haridas Nagar, Delhi and all the proceedings pursuant thereto are hereby quashed.

The petitioners are, however, burdened with cost of Rs.10,000/- each to be deposited with the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund. Cost deposited. A receipt of cost of Rs.10,000/- each is taken on record. The petition is disposed of.
