O R D E R
% 29.01.2018 It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no.2 were neighbours at the relevant time. a quarrel took place between them on some trivial issue which led to registration of present FIR No.314/2013 under Sections 323/341/354A(1)(i)/354/354B/354D/509 IPC at police station Ranhola, on the complaint of respondent no.2. It is further submitted that petitioners and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably, before the Mediation Centre, Tis Hazari Court, Delhi on 18th September, 2017, therefore, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom may be quashed.
Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Sandeep Rathi of police station Ranhola. She submits that she has settled the
matter with the petitioner before the Mediation Centre of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She has no objection in case the FIR is quashed. Affidavit of respondent no.2 is also on record. Keeping in mind that a settlement has been arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms.

CRL.M.C. 426/2018 Statement of Mr. Sahil @ Sardar S/o Mr. Shafiq, aged 28 years, R/o 65, Gali No. 4, Near Masjid, Village Kureni, Narela, Delhi - 110040. On S.A.
I had married to Ms. Arti Kumar (respondent no.2) as per Muslim rites and ceremonies on 27th January, 2012. No child was born from our wedlock.
Due to temperamental differences, we could not live together since July, 2012. Respondent no.2 filed FIR No. 395/2014 under Sections 498A/34 IPC at police station New Ashok Nagar against me and my family members, that is, petitioner nos. 2 to 11.
I have settled the matter with respondent no.2 amicably before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi on 18th March, 2016. During the medication proceedings, I pronounced Talaq thrice to the respondent no.2 before the witnesses and a reference in this regard has been made in the mediation proceedings dated 18th March, 2016. I have also paid `20,000/- to the respondent no.2 towards the settled amount. I have settled the matter with the respondent no.2 of my own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. I have filed the present petition for quashing of the FIR against me and my family members. I have given the aforesaid statement voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion.

I married to Mr. Sahil @ Sardar (petitioner no.1) on 27th January, 2012 as per Muslim rites and ceremonies. Due to marital discord we could not live together after July, 2012. I lodged FIR No. 395/2014 under Sections 498A/34 IPC at police station New Ashok Nagar against the petitioner no.1 and his relatives, that is, petitioner nos. 2 to 11. Subsequently, I have settled the matter with the petitioner no.1 before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi on 18th March, 2016 of my own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. During the mediation proceedings only, petitioner pronounced Talaq thrice before the witnesses and a reference regarding this has been made in clause 1 of the mediation proceedings. I have received `20,000/- from the petitioner no.1 towards the settled amount.
In view of the settlement, I am not inclined to pursue the FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom any further and the same may be quashed against all the petitioners. I have given the aforesaid statement voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion.
