Pursuant to the order dated 06.12.2018, a Status Report has been filed by the respondents No.1, 3 and 5/GNCTD and the respondent No.4/AIIMS. The detailed affidavit filed by the respondent No.4/AIIMS reiterates most of what was recorded in the order dated 06.12.2018. 2.
Learned counsel for the respondent No.4/AIIMS hands over a copy of the letter dated 06.01.2019, addressed by the District Magistrate, Dehradun to the Medical Superintendent, AIIMS, stating inter alia that Sant Gopal Das's missing report lodged at PS Kotwali, Dehradun has been closed in view of the fact that it was found that he is visiting various parts of the country to meet his disciples. The letter dated 06.01.2019 has been issued W.P.(CRL) 3718/2018
based on the said closure report. The same is taken on record with a copy furnished to the counsel for the petitioner.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of. 4.
If the petitioner still has a grievance against the investigation carried out by the police in the State of Uttarakhand, it is for him to seek his remedies before the competent court, vested with territorial jurisdiction in that regard.
