% 15.01.2018 This petition has been filed under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 by the petitioner, seeking extension of time in making of the award by the Sole Arbitrator, who has been appointed to adjudicate the disputes that have arisen between the parties. This Court in OMP (MISC)(COMM) 12/2017, Arora Construction Company PVT. LTD. v. ADTV Communications PVT. LTD. vide order dated 01.08.2017 had extended the time for making of the award till 30.11.2017.

I have perused the contents of the petition and find that the delay in making of the award is not attributable to the Arbitral Tribunal. The respondent, in spite of service of notice have not appeared. In view of the above, I extend the time for making of the award by another period of six months w.e.f. 30.11.2017.
