% 20.12.2018 Respondent no.2-Ms. Anchal is present in Court and has been identified by SI Sachin Kumar, PS Vasant Vihar. Respondent no.2 submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion, vide a Memorandum of Understanding dated 26th November, 2018. Respondent No. 2 states that she has no objection in case FIR no. 337/2015 under Sections 354D IPC registered at Police Station Vasant Vihar and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed against the petitioner.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and

respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
